Website: Alexander Local School District, Albany, Ohio 1998-2004
The Alexander Local School District website, alexanderschools.org, grew out of my part in the advocacy for State Issue 18 during the 1998 election cycle. The Issue involved an increase in property tax to pay for a new consolidated school complex, replacing the older ones in use at the time. When the Issue passed, I converted the Issue-based website to a school site and developed and maintained every part of it — as a volunteer — until 2004.
The Spartan silhouette was created by me using the Adobe Freehand tracing program and, with the original structure of the site that I developed, is still in use in today’s version of the website.
